The Bulgarian company SIN Cars, a developer and manufacturer of racing cars, is planning a public offer of business shares on the market to begin mass production of urban electric vehicles in 2019, BalkanEngineer.com learned.

The company aims at expanding its production base. For this purpose, it will give 40% of its shares for sale, resulting in expected revenues of EUR 10 million. "We currently have the technology and capacity to produce up to 300 electric vehicles per year, but we want to collect capital to build an assembly line for 15 000 cars a year," the company said.

SIN Cars was founded in 2012 in the UK by engineer and racer Rosen Daskalov. Today, the headquarters of the company are in Ruse, Bulgaria, and the SIN Cars brand is popular with the participation of the 650 hP Sin R1 model in the European GT4 competition.

For the first time in the spring of 2018, SIN Cars introduced its first non-competitive electric car at a motor show in Geneva.
