Tech leader Bosch is investing in the future of engineering education in Romania by opening a modern lab at the National University of Science and Technology Polytechnic Bucharest. The aim of the project is to enable students to start working with technologies that are currently driving global industry – from software-controlled cars to fully automated driving systems, BalkanEngineer.com learned from the specialist publication Romania-Insider.com.

At the new facility, future engineers will have access to equipment and software used in Bosch's real-world research centers around the world. The program includes practical courses on the development of driver assistance systems (ADAS) and intelligent mobility. The idea is for students to leave university with real skills for the labor market, turning Bucharest into a location for the creation of high-tech personnel.

The company's partnership does not stop at equipment – Bosch experts will enter the classrooms as mentors to share their experience "from the kitchen" of the industry. This investment is the latest step for the company in Romania, where its engineering center in Cluj already plays a leading role in the group's global innovations.
