Austrian investment company Enery has officially launched one of the most ambitious and innovative energy projects in Southeast Europe, located in Romania. The initiative envisages the construction of a large-scale hybrid renewable energy park that will combine solar and wind energy, supplemented by modern battery energy storage systems. This integrated approach aims to ensure greater stability of supply and optimize the operation of the power grid, overcoming the variable nature of traditional RES, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Romania Insider.

In addition to its scale, the project is also distinguished by the application of high technological standards, which rank it among the most significant hybrid facilities on the European continent. For its part, Romania's choice to implement this investment highlights the country's growing potential as a strategic energy hub in the region. By combining different types of production on the same site, Enery is expected to significantly reduce its environmental footprint and increase the efficiency of the infrastructure used.

According to estimates, the project will serve as a model for future hybrid installations in Central and Eastern Europe, demonstrating how innovative engineering solutions can accelerate the energy transition.
