Baumit is expanding its production facilities in Arandjelovac, Serbia

29 september 2022

Baumit Serbia is planning to expand the production capacity of its Arandjelovac plant and move its mixing plant from Slovenia to Serbia, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from Serbianmonitor.com. This is recorded in the municipal "City project for the construction of a plant for the production of dry products", published for public discussion by the municipality of Arandjelovac. The town planning project was developed by the company Arplan from Arandjelovac, and the conceptual solution - by the engineering company Termoenergo from Belgrade.

Baumit's complex is located in the Kubršnica industrial area in the suburban part of Arandjelovac, and since the production capacity of the existing plant in Slovenia is already at its limit and in need of modernization, the plan is to move the mixing plant from Slovenia to Serbia within the existing complex in Arandjelovac.

Baumit is headquartered in Wöpfing, Austria and operates in 28 countries worldwide. The company has been operating in Serbia since 2002, with its headquarters in the country located in Belgrade. At the beginning of 2006, Baumit started production at the plant in Arandjelovac, where some of the company's products are manufactured.
