AI solutions from Schneider Electric and Motivair are helping build one of the largest data center campuses in the US

The world-renowned leader Schneider Electric and its provider of cooling technologies for digital infrastructure, Motivair by Schneider Electric, have marked an important stage in the development of factories for artificial intelligence (AI), after successfully providing AI infrastructure solutions worth 290 million dollars regarding the phased expansion of the large-scale Lake Mariner data center complex owned by the US company TeraWulf.

Amidst a growing power supply shortage—which is becoming a major challenge for AI development in the US—the project demonstrates how combining energy infrastructure, liquid cooling technologies, and digital intelligence can significantly accelerate the deployment of new computing power and meet the industry's ever-increasing demands," Schneider Electric Bulgaria told BalkanEngineer.com.

Schneider Electric and Motivair, as strategic partners in the field of energy technologies, have realized the project within especially ambitious deadlines, supporting TeraWulf in the transformation of the site into a modern campus of specialized data centers for artificial intelligence within the span of 12 months.

During the completion of the project, Schneider Electric ensured technical design and engineering support during the implementation of UPS systems Galaxy VX, lithium-ion battery systems Galaxy and NetShelter rack solutions. Motivair supplied Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs), in-rack distribution modules, and ChilledDoor liquid cooling systems. "Integrated solutions also include Schneider Electric’s award-winning EcoStruxure IT Data Center Expert software, which provides centralized monitoring and intelligent environmental management. Motivair Client Services’ additional offerings help detect potential issues early, minimize the risk of downtime, and optimize investments in cooling infrastructure," Schneider Electric commented.
