The Serbian telecommunications operator Telekom Srbija had launched a corporate venture capital fund for investments in high-tech startups. The project is called TS Ventures Fund and is worth 25 million euro, BalkanEngineer.com also learned from Ekapija.com.

This is the first corporate venture capital fund in Serbia, created after a model of large European and global companies. Its operations will be carried out with professional management completely independently, and investment decisions will be made by a commission consisting of both an internal team and external independent members with proven international expertise in investing in various start-ups.

One of the fund’s priorities will be to connect with other investment funds in the region and beyond. Thus, through the mutual exchange of experience, knowledge and ideas, Telekom Srbija will strive to contribute to the development of the start-up community in the country.
