The Serbian manufacturer of automotive tires Tigar Tyres has resumed its operations on 4th May, BalkanEngineer.com learned from SerbianMonitor.com. The company ranks among the country’s largest exporters.

By 4th May, Tigar Tyres management must have created the conditions to start production at full capacity, in line with the recommendations and decisions by the Serbian authorities. The activity in the facility located in Pirot must be also organized in accordance with the preventive hygiene measures developed by Michelin Group, within which the company operates.

The company Tigar Tyres was founded in 1935 in Pirot as a workshop for the production of rubber products and shoes. In 2008, the company became the property of the French manufacturer Michelin Group, which opened a new plant worth EUR 215 million in 2014.
