The Serbian aircraft maintenance company Jat Tehnika has been purchased

The Czech company Avia Prime has signed a contract for the acquisition of the Serbian company for aircraft maintenance Jat Tehnika, BalkanEngineer.com learned from CIJEurope.com. The deal is worth EUR 10.3 million.

 

 

The facility, previously owned by Jat Tehnika, that is located at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport, will be Avia Prime’s fourth site for aircraft maintenance. The company also operates on the airports in Ljubljana (Slovenia), Katowice (Poland) and Rzhev (Russia).

 

Jat Tehnika was founded on 1st January 2006, separating from the company Jat Airways, which dates back to 85 years ago.

 

Today, with its long tradition in the technical service of aircrafts, Jat Tehnika has the best-equipped center for aircraft maintenance in Southeast Europe.
