Serbia constructs waste water treatment facilities

The construction of waste water treatment facilities in the Serbian capital Belgrade will start in the autumn of 2021, BalkanEngineer.com learned from eKapija.com.

 

 

During a meeting of the Task Force for the monitoring of the activities towards the project realization the Serbian Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Zorana Mihajlovic said that the country will invest more than EUR 3.3 billion in construction of sewerage and water treatment systems.

 

Geodetic and geotechnical activities are currently underway and the preparation of a conceptual design and the necessary research and analysis is being carried out, eKapija.com adds.

 

The meeting was also attended by Li Xueqiang, director of the Serbian office of the Chinese company CMEC, which will implement the water project.
