A total of EUR 190 million from Serbia's state budget will be invested in the construction of a 260 km sewer system and three waste water treatment facilities, BalkanEngineer.com learned from eKapija.com.

In addition, EUR 118 million is set aside for the construction of a new regional landfill and waste incinerator. The construction of the regional landfill in Kragujevac will solve one of the main environmental problems, and the sewerage network will significantly improve the infrastructure and the quality of life of the citizens.

Waste water treatment facilities will be built in the city of Kragujevac, the villages of Stragari and Batocina. All investments are part of the Clean Serbia project, funded by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
