Science-Technology Park in Serbian city of Cacak will be expanded with a financial help of EUR 3.5 million from the state budget, BalkanEngineer.com learned from ekapija.com. The project includes a reconstruction of the existing facilities and adding new areas. Its realization is expected to take 24 months.
The funds will be used to provide equipment for business premises for the needs of new companies. Thus it will help establishing innovative enterprises, providing an opportunity for young professionals to stay in Cacak and apply their knowledge to development of the local economy.
In addition to the state financial funds, the municipality of Cacak will provide a land and full infrastructure, worth EUR 2.5 million. The implementation of the project will also create 300 new jobs.
