Saint-Gobain acquired the Romanian materials manufacturer Duraziv

Romania’s largest independent manufacturer of building materials Duraziv had become part of the world leader Saint-Gobain, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Deloitte.com. The deal for selling the shares was signed on 30th September 2021 after negotiations with the consulting company Deloitte.

 

 

Duraziv is one of the main suppliers of construction solutions in Romania, having a rich product portfolio of adhesives and dry mortars, decorative paints and metals. The company was founded in 2003 and today ranks among the five largest manufacturers in the sector of construction materials in Romania. Duraziv is also the first company in the country to develop its own series of ecological paints, called “Duraziv Odorless”.

 

Saint-Gobain is a French multinational corporation specializing in the production, transformation and distribution of materials. The company’s revenues by 2020 were 38 billion euro.
