The Oslomej photovoltaic (Macedonian) power plant will supply 2800 households

The construction of the photovoltaic power plant “Oslomej has been completed and it will supply 2800  households with electricity, Balkanengineer.com learned from Izvoz.mk. The Prime minster of the Republic of Northern Macedonia Dimitar Kovacevski, together with government representatives, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Ministers, and the General Director of ESM Vasko Kovacevski, attended the completion of the Oslomej”.

 

 

The construction of the photovoltaic power plant was realized with credit support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

 

The annual power generation of the new photovoltaic power plant will be from 15 to 17 GWh. The test period of the equipment, installed on 10 MW photovoltaic power plant owned by ESM, already has started. She It is built on the former coal deposits in REK "Oslomej".

 

The official commissioning of the photovoltaic power plant will begin immediately after the end of the test period, which for Prime Minister Kovacevski means the beginning of the energy transition of REK "Oslomej" and the Kicevo region.
