North Macedonian pharmaceutical company Alkaloid has announced that it has registered a subsidiary in Almaty, Kazakhstan, BalkanEngineer.com has learned from a SeeNews.com posting.

The expansion into the Asian market aligns with the company's core strategic goals, particularly its emphasis on boosting exports and enhancing the global presence of the Alkaloid brand.
Alkaloid's portfolio in Kazakhstan will initially include antibiotics and nutritional supplements for pregnant women, and the company plans to expand its product range and increase its presence in other countries in the region in the future.
The new company is Alkaloid's 26th subsidiary.
