Municipality Ruma, Serbia, will modernize gas plant “Center-South”

The Serbian Municipality Ruma has announced а tender for the construction of the gas plant “Center-South”. The investment it will be worth 20.4 million dinara and the completion of the works is planned for September 1 2022, Balkanengineer.com learned from Ekapija.com.

 

 

The project of the reconstruction and modernization of the system of central heating in Ruma entails the replacement of mazut as the main energy source, the increase of the energy efficiency of the plant, the distribution network and the entire system.

 

According to project documentation the sector “Center-South” encompasses the JNA boiler room and the heating pipeline which will connect that boiler with individual consumers and heating substations. “Center-South” covers a heating consumption capacity of 1696 kW.

 

The implementation of the new system will enable automatic operations and remote control.
