For the period January-June 2022, Makpetrol AD (Skopje, North Macedonia) achieved a total revenue of 16.33 billion denars, which is 7.43 billion denars more than last year's value, Balkanengineer.com learned from Denar.mk.

On a quarterly basis, the total revenue in 2022 is growing and surpassing pre-pandemic levels, largely due to rising petroleum product prices.

In the revenue structure, the largest share (98.60%) is from sales, of which 93.41% are realized from sales on the domestic market, and only 5.19% are realized from sales on the foreign market.

The increase in revenue compared to last year is mainly due to increased retail (by 58.47%).

The total costs realized in 2022 are in the amount of 15.74 billion denars, which represents an increase compared to last year by 7.07 billion denars or by 81.52%, which is mainly due to the increased costs for the purchase value of commercial goods of 90.15%.

As a result of the income and expenses, at the end of the period the company achieved positive financial results, expressed by profit before taxes in the amount of 585 million denars, which is more than twice the realized profit for the six months of last year, when it amounted to 223 million denars.
