The German Boysen Abgassysteme opened an innovative factory in Serbia

The German manufacturer of automotive exhaust systems Boysen Abgassysteme d.o.o. had opened a new production base in Subotica, Serbia, BalkanEngineer learned from Ekapija.com. The 65-million-euro investment is one of the largest in the city’s recent history.

 

 

The opening ceremony was attended by the Serbian President Alexander Vucic and H.E. German Ambassador to Serbia Thomas Schieb, who said the new facility symbolized the remarkable economic relations between the two countries. The factory is located in the business zone of Subotica and covers an area of ​​about 10 ha. The work process in it is fully robotic and automated. The company is expected to employ 500 specialists.

 

The new plant of Boysen Abgassysteme will produce innovative exhaust technology with over 90% automation. The German company has production facilities on all continents, and the one in Subotica is one of the most modern in Europe.
