The National Company Industrial Zones in Bulgaria (NCIZ) and the Bulgarian Municipality of Gorna Oryahovitsa signed a Memorandum of Understanding, according to which the sites in the municipality will be offered to investors through the NCIZ, BalkanEnginner.com learned from the country’s Ministry of Economy. The memorandum was signed by the Executive Director of NCIZ Antoaneta Bares and the Mayor of Gorna Oryahovitsa Eng. Dobromir Dobrev.
At the signing ceremony, the Bulgarian Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov stated that there is a serious interest on the part of a big French aviation industry company in the industrial zone near the airport of Gorna Oryahovitsa. The terrain, with a size of about 300 decars, has a good technical infrastructure and is located directly next to an airport and a train station, which makes it a particularly attractive for investment.
At present, NCIZ has signed Memoranda for Cooperation with the Bulgarian municipalities of Burgas, Bozhurishte, Vratsa, Sandanski, Lovech, Kyustendil, Varna, Vidin, Dupnitsa, Stara Zagora and the Kardzhali Disctict Administration.
