Enel to invest EUR 15 million in charging stations in Romania

Italian energy group Enel intends to invest EUR 15 million in charging stations for electric vehicles in Romania, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Romania-Insider.com.

 

 

The company will announce its concrete plans in November this year.

 

The investment budget will allow an overall national coverage and a possibility for travelling around the country by electric cars.

 

By now the company has been engaged in electrical distribution operations in Southern Muntenia, Dobrogea and Banat municipalities, covering about 2.8 million consumers. Its portfolio of wind and solar parks in Romania has an installed capacity of 534 MW. The company recorded revenues of EUR 614 million in the first half of this year, up by 11% compared to the same period of 2017.
