Dura Automotive Systems and Almac are building a joint modern factory in Skopje

The manufacturers of automotive component Dura Automotive Systems and Almac plan to launch a shared production in the capital of North Macedonia. The new joint venture will operate under the name Almac Dura Extrusions, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Dura Automotive Systems’ website.

 

 

The two manufacturers will combine their expertise of many years to produce extruded aluminum components for electric and light automobiles. For this purpose, a modern facility will be built in the city of Skopje on an area of ​​18 000 m2. More than 70 job positions for technical and production specialists are expected to be created at the new plant.

 

Dura Automotive Systems is an independent American designer and manufacturer of automotive components, including control systems and exterior elements. The international company Almac, based in South Korea, specializes in the production of aluminum parts for cars as well as batteries for electric vehicles.
