The Australian company Quickstep Holdings Limited, a manufacturer of composite solutions for the aviation industry, and the Bulgarian startup for unmanned cargo transportation with transport drones Dronamics have announced a partnership relationship, Balkanengineer.com has learned from Investor.bg.

The partnership was announced at the Farnborough International Air Show in England, and the memorandum will see Quickstep provide engineering and manufacturing services to Dronamix to accelerate production of the Black Swan cargo drone.

By October 31, 2022, negotiations between the companies are expected to reach a binding agreement for Phase 1 (Prototype), and the first drone under the partnership is expected to be delivered in 2023. Plans also include a progressive increase in production of cargo drones over the next four years.

Dronamix recently became the first cargo drone company to receive a European license. The Bulgarian company intends to start commercial operations in Europe before the end of 2022, and in Australia - from 2023. The company's shares have increased in price by over 6% in the last 6 months, and its market capitalization reaches 12.6 million BGN.
