The family company Trubna Mebel, based in Dobrich, Bulgaria, plans to invest a significant amount in implementing new technologies in its production process, BalkanEngineer.com learned from Capital.bg. The approved project includes an investment of BGN 930,000, of which 35% is allocated free of charge under the procedure "Support for the transition to a circular economy in enterprises" from the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, which will allow the manufacturer to implement a powder coating facility and a welding robot .

It is expected that as a result of the modernization, the company will reduce the amount of waste generated during the production of a unit of product, limit the use of single-use plastic products and improve the energy efficiency of the products.

With its consistent investments in modern technologies, such as metal processing machines and CNC pipe bending machines, Trubna Mebel aims at maximum automation of its production, as the previous year the company invested in machines for processing and bending solid metals with a diameter of 10-12 mm - latest generation tube laser and CNC tube bending machines.

The market development of Trubna Mebel includes a new own brand – Voxoli, under which the company is preparing to introduce over 50 new products, including chairs and tables, to the Bulgarian and European markets. Founded 24 years ago, today Tubna Mebel has two renovated production buildings with a total area of 9000 m² and a team of 60 people. According to the latest data, the company processes 35-45 t of metal per month and produces from them about 15,000 chairs, as well as tables, consoles, frames, beds, and the total number of chairs for export from Dobrich to Italy reaches 3,000 per month.
