Bulgaria has officially inaugurated its first professional racing circuit designed and certified to host Formula 3 level competitions. Located near Sapareva Banya, this state-of-the-art facility represents a large-scale investment aimed at transforming the country into a regional hub for driver training and international automotive events, BalkanEngineer.com reports via Economic.bg.

The track was constructed in accordance with the highest safety standards and technical requirements set by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The project includes the main circuit as well as essential infrastructure: modern team garages, spectator stands, and a telemetry center. The opening of this facility is a milestone for Bulgarian motorsport; until now, local talent had to rely primarily on facilities in neighboring countries for professional training with high-performance single-seaters.

The new circuit is expected to attract not only professional racing teams but also major manufacturers looking to test new car models and technologies. The location near Sapareva Banya was strategically chosen for its excellent transport links and the potential to integrate sporting events with local tourism. The first official races on the new track are scheduled for the current season.
