Aptiv to expand its production with a new factory in Zajecar, Serbia

The British company Aptiv, which deals with the manufacture of electronic and electrical equipment for vehicles, intends to expand its production activities by opening a new plant in Zajecar, Serbia, BalkanEngineer.com learned from SerbianMonitor.com.

 

 

The new production facility will be located on an area of 40 000 m2 and is expected to provide about 5000 job positions. When recruiting, the employer will look for and employ professionals from the entire Timok area.

 

This is the third factory of the British company in Serbia after the opened bases in Leskovac and Novi Sad. Currently 300 employees work at the Leskovac plant, with Aptiv aiming to increase the number of employees there by another 1700 workers by 2020.
