Wind energy plant starts in Serbia, construction of another starts
Project of 9.9 megawatt wind capacity is about to complete its functional pre-start tests in Serbian town of Kula, informed BalkanGreenEnergyNews.com for BalkanEngineer.com. The company operator MK-Fintel Wind announced that it will start producing electricity from its three Vestas turbines, as soon as they obtain permission to operate. The construction of renewable power capacity is financed under the commitment by Serbia to stimulate the building of 500 MW of wind capacity in order to reach the needed quota of "green" energy by 2020.

New wind energy park was put into operation in Turkey
Another wind power plant was put into operation in the province of Mugla, Turkey. It has an installed capacity of 20 MW, reported for BalkanEngineer.com Anadolu Agency. The estimated amount of electricity that will generate the wind power plant Akbuk 2 RES, which has ten turbine generator is 68 MWh per year. It is owned by Ayen Enerji. With the new capacity the total amount of electricity produced by wind in the country is expected to reach 4718 MW. Last year Turkey added record of 956 MW of installed capacity of wind power. New modern trains travel the distance Skopje - Bitola faster than a bus
