At the start of the most magical and celebrated month December we have the pleasure to share with you the news you’ve all been waiting for. The engineering portal for the Balkans, BalkanEngineer.com, has been entirely renewed! The new platform is modernized, with better functionality and closer to our readers. In the next few lines we’re going to tell all the new things awaiting you.

A more modern look, richer content, and a better user experience

BalkanEngineer.com is a digital technical magazine, created with the purpose of covering the world of tech and technical solutions. It is oriented towards specialists, managers, like-minded people from all fields of technology in the Balkans, in particular Eastern Europe. In it you can find useful articles, news, opinions, analysis, market overviews, as well as interviews with specialists across different firms, leaders in industry and construction. The information is based around the key themes: Instrumentation and Control, Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Machinery and Mechanical Systems, Water and Sewerage, Energy (RES), etc.

The new BalkanEgnineer.com is created with a focus on comfort for our readers – more intuitive navigation, much clearer categories, and higher quality content. Besides the known categories “News”, “Events” and “Articles”, in the new platform we’ve added 3 more sections, “Solutions”, “Discussions” and “Video”, that will enrich the professional experience. We have also made job postings and event calendars much more functional and user-friendly.

Last but not least, the updated platform also supports a mobile version.

A platform without boundaries: on 6+ languages

Naturally, we’ve managed to preserve the uniqueness of BalkanEngineer.com in the new platform, the ability for a large portion our audience to read the material in their native language. At the moment the platform is available in Albanian, Bulgarian, Romanian, and Serbian, as well as the Macedonian dialect, and for even wider accessibility, in English.

But that’s not all. BalkanEngineer.com will soon be available in 7 Balkan languages, because we continue our efforts to allow the platform to reach all Balkan countries. For this reason, during 2026 we will open two additional pages – for Greece and Turkey. This way we continue our mission – to allow accessible, high quality and up to date engineering material for specialists across the entire region of the Balkans and Southeast Europe.
