The Quality Specialist has the role of deploying and facilitating the quality culture in Electrification Distribution Solutions, ensuring and controlling quality to exceed customer expectations while ensuring sustainable operations, and representing the customer’s voice within local teams, providing customer experience feedback and input. You will provide assistance with and maintain the quality management system, managing all aspects in line with guidance from ABB Group/division/business area.

Your responsibilities:

  • Assists in the implementation of effective internal controls to verify that processes will meet customer and stakeholder requirements;
  • Collaborates with the Product/Process Engineering team and communicates directly with the customer to ensure consistent project execution;
  • Validates if control plans are applied and effective in mitigating known risks;
  • Oversees control during production;
  • Prepares and presents reports and metrics to Senior Management;
  • Executes, oversees, and analyses quality transactions in ERP system SAP.

Your background:

  • Knowledge and experience in production – 1 years;
  • Experience in wiring will be considered as an advantage;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English;
  • Excellent coordination skills;
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
