As we continue to grow our operations in the Bozhurishte Industrial Park in Sofia, Bulgaria, we are seeking a skilled and personable professional to join our team in this new role of:

PLANNING SPECIALIST / VARIANT MANAGEMENT

Duties and responsibilities:

• Project lead to introduce Variant-Management at the Bulgarian Location;
• Coordination with Programming Department in developing variant configuration principles;
• Development and optimization of single part or multi-level routings and operation sequences based on created variants;
• Supporting efficient scheduling, work center utilization and accurate lead time calculation;
• Supporting other locations with expert knowledge of Planning Strategies;
• Capacity planning in SAP/APO and managing production schedules;
• Creating and maintaining the necessary material master data in the system;
• Managing the process of creating and releasing production orders in the system;

Skills:

• English B2 Level, German is a plus;
• Experience in manufacturing environment with planning function;
o Focus on turning, milling, sheet metal production
• Experience in Routing and Operation Step Management;
• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, SAP knowledge would be an advantage;
• Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations;
• Ability to work on short, mid and long term tasks;
• Demonstrate strong initiative;
• Independent and self-organized, able to prioritize and meet deadlines;
• Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
