Technical Writer

Location: Sofia

The role:

• Create clear, simple, accurate, and useful documents, helpful to the reader - clients, certification authorities, employees;
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets the needs of the target audience, and complies with the organizational standards and guidelines;
• Breaks down research into easy-to-understand text;
• Informs employees how to conduct procedures safely;
• Simplifies complex product descriptions;
• Teaches customers how to properly assemble, adjust and install the products that our company produces;
• Communicate and collaborate closely with product managers, designers and technical staff on documentation requirements;
• Design, compose and edit end-user documentation, including creating new documents from scratch and updating existing documentation;
• Must be able to write technical documentation, system requirements specifications, user manuals, installation and maintenance manuals including all necessary attributes according the applicable product standards.

Your profile:

• Technical background. At least 3-4 years of previous commercial experience as a Technical Writer or a similar role;
• Knowledge in technical writing, according to standards and guidelines;
• Experience using service management platforms;
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken (B2/C1/C2);
• Must be able to read and understand complex technical documentation;
• Clear understanding of product development stages;
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/ Corel Draw / Bartender / Inkscape/ MS OFFICE / VISIO;
• Able to multitask and prioritize;
• Education - Engineering degree.
