For one of our clients we are looking for  

Procurement Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and support a team of procurement specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals; identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, negotiate contracts and favorable terms, and regularly evaluate supplier performance.
• Work closely with technical and production teams to understand specifications, standards, and equipment requirements.
• Manage budgets for technical procurement activities, monitor expenditures, and ensure full compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record in technical procurement, specifically focused on production equipment, tools, and/or related services.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP is strongly preferred) and procurement tools.
• Excellent command of English (knowledge of German is considered a strong advantage).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership abilities with data-driven decision-making skills.
