Purchasing specialist (Buyer)

The global company has production and sales structures all over the world, located in the Philippines, China, Japan, Israel, USA, Mexico, Netherlands, Germany, France, Bulgaria and Serbia.

The production facilities in Bulgaria are located in the city of Botevgrad (IMI 1 plant, IMI 2 plant and Plastics workshop), and Integrated Micro-Electronics Bulgaria offers professional development to 1900 people from Botevgrad and the region. The company also has a Toolshop and Automation Departments in Botevgrad, which support the main production for assembly and testing of electronic modules.

The production facilities in Bulgaria (plant IMI 1, IMI 2 and Plastics & Toolshop) are located in Botevgrad. 

We are looking for 1 Purchasing Specialist (BUYER)  for maternity cover to join our Purchasing team in Botevgrad.

Reporting to: Purchasing Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Materials supply management:

• Send orders/forecast/schedules for materials’ delivery to the corresponding suppliers based on the required volumes in MRP;
• Monitor order confirmations and delivery execution for 100% conformity of the quantities and dates as well as term of delivery;
• Update ERP system daily with latest order-related information;
• Organize return to the suppliers in case of logistic non-conformity;
• Create return PO in case of quality non-conformity.

Materials planning:

Analyze the materials’ planning on weekly basis as to achieve maximum production line efficiency and minimum stock level;
Perform stock analysis on monthly basis and take appropriate actions to meet company’s requirement on days of stock indicator.

Interaction with suppliers:

• Develop working process and relationship according to IMI requirements;
• Prepare assessment of suppliers performance according to the methodology approved;
• Apply IMI escalation procedure in case of critical for production materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

• University Degree in Economics – in the area of Logistics is an advantage;
• Very good written and spoken English (interaction with foreign suppliers);
• Computer literacy – good level of MS Excel, SAP is a plus;
• Knowledge and experience in international trade and logistics – considered a serious advantage;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks;
• Team player.
